Lovely location. I was there for Halloween Trick or Treating. Vendors set up tables and promoted themselves while passing out "treats" for the children. The park slopes quite a bit, and, since I don't walk very well, I opted to sit in a covered pavilion and watch the action from there. The pavilion was only about a quarter of he way down the hill, if that, so it suited this disabled grandma very well. Nice set up. Well organized event.
Nice place to. Have a cook out
This park is very clean with lots of resources and several lovely walking tracks. It's very nice to be able to walk by the river and everyone I've met always speaks and is friendly.
Beautiful park, great entertainment
The amphitheater is one of the best parts of this park as I've attended every big Bluegrass Festival held there in July!
